In just a few days, we will be officially turning back the clocks, which means we get an extra hour of sleep. Unfortunately, it also means we lose all of that wonderful daylight and sunshine that comes with spring and summer out on our patio. Spring forward and fall back -hat’s the rule we follow when changing our clocks. Don’t forget to turn your clock back on Sunday, November 1st, 2015. Daylight savings time reduces crime, promotes outdoor recreation and is good for many businesses. However, for some people living with depression or other mood disorders, the approach of the change is a time of dread. Seasonal affective disorder is characterized by recurrent episodes of depression, usually in late fall and winter.

The purpose of this blog is to not be more of a “downer!” There is good news for anyone struggling with the seasonal changes. At Crossroads Sports Bar, we not only have the best restaurant menu in Wood Dale, we also offer video games for the whole family. According to new research, video games may actually be better than medication as a cure for the blues. This fall, bring the whole family in and enjoy delicious food, cold beer, live music, and games to keep the blues away. Before you know it, the sun will be back out and the cold of fall and winter will all be a distant memory. Come join us while the leaves fall outside. Here, everybody is family and our customer service shows it. Don’t take our word for it, we look forward to seeing you!
